Sold Out

Unframed relief print of my original work, “Compost” depicting a skull surrounded by the moss, mushrooms, decay and rebirth of the forest floor. All prints come signed.

These prints were lovingly hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with a rich brown oil-based ink onto 9”x12” natural lokta with a traditional torn edge. Lokta paper is a delicate looking (yet surprisingly strong!) handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found at high elevations in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. The shrubs regrow this bark, making Lokta paper a sustainable resource!

Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.

I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints. I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.
