In The Garden Linocut Print 10"x8"
Unframed relief print of my original work, “In The Garden” depicting root vegetables thriving in the earth alongside long forgotten skeletal remains.
These prints were lovingly hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with a rich dark brown oil-based ink onto 10”x8” lightweight natural lokta with a traditional torn edge. Lokta paper is a delicate looking (yet surprisingly strong!) handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found at high elevations in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. The shrubs regrow this bark, making Lokta paper a sustainable resource!
Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.
I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints so I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.
