Tea Time Linocut Print 10”x4”
Unframed relief print of my original work, “Tea Time", a triptych depicting a kettle, a steamy mug, and a bag of tea. All prints come titled & signed.
These prints were lovingly hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with rust orange ink onto 10”x4” yellow ochre colored lokta paper. Lokta paper is a delicate looking (yet surprisingly strong!) handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found at high elevations in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. The shrubs regrow this bark, making Lokta paper a sustainable resource!
Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.
I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints so I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.
